I heard great things about this place but I saw it as a hidden gem cause I’d live in PGH my entire life and never heard of it. They have amazing food. Their fish sandwiches for lent are also some of the best in PGH. Highly recommend giving them a shot.

First time trying and it was absolutely delicious I was shocked when I got my hoagie with how big it was ! It did not disappoint! The sauce on the pizza’s were excellent! The owners wife was just so sweet they forgot our sprite but it happens and everything was all good! She was very apologetic and gave us a credit on our next order for our 2 liter. Definitely will be ordering again! Great pizza place! Top favorite

This place is awesome. It's not just another chain pizza joint. Their pasta, gyros, hoagies, and wings are amazing. You can't beat a good locally owned pizza shop with a great menu.

Located near family The Other Place is our go to when visiting them. Menu selections are plentiful and portion sizes are huge. Small calzone was huge. Recommend if you are in the area.

I am a foody clearly, have rarely missed a meal or snack I didn't like. I adore The Other Place so much. My faves are the lasagna,..fuh get about it,..meatball cass, pep rolls, tiramisu & almond cake, shrooms, zucchini even poutine ...the staff is incredible... especially Sneaky Pete who cooks with . I ordered fish & slaw with onion rings .. get the tiger sauce... scrumptious. Delivery was so quick & these guys are just additional toppings on an already incredible experience. Ya all know I think you are only the best & I appreciate you. I never think to take pics, old school here. So thrilled you are so close. XOXO Di G. Ya know over the hill

I read some good reviews about this place, so I stopped in for carry-out for lunch on a Monday. The folks working there were GREAT! Really friendly and they explained how they make much of their food. I was tempted by their chicken tenders, so I asked if they used frozen chicken tenders and they not only said “no” and explained how they made them, they just happened to be making a batch of fresh tenders and showed me the fresh chicken breasts they use to make them. I ordered their Nashville Hot tenders and they were AMAZING! The breading was very light and flavorful and the dry Nashville Hot seasoning was spicy... very tasty!! I also got their Deluxe Italian sub, half size and it was excellent! Very fresh ingredients and the sub came together great... Very Nice!! This place is carry-out only, but they do deliver and they do prepare food rather quickly. Highly recommend! I’ll definitely return!!

They're gyros are definitely one of the best!! The amount of gyro meat and thickness of it puts it ahead of many competitors who are known for their gyros. DON'T SLEEP ON THIS GYRO!!! Super delicious!!! If you like ricotta on your pizza, try The Cameron. BOMB! They're meatballs are really good too, i ordered the meatball casserole and fed 3 of my kids and still had some left over!

My son and I hit up The Other Place before heading downtown for the Pitt game. It is a take out spot, so we ordered two medium pizzas, homemade breadsticks, and the stallion - a hoagie on a loaf of Mancini’s bread - to go. We stopped by Carnegie Park to feast at a picnic table. The pizzas were good. Nice amount of cheese, cup pepperoni, tasty crust (traditional). Breadsticks were equally tasty. The stallion was definitely a top shelf Italian sandwich, though that was indeed a loaf of bread. Could only eat half. I must note, only after we ordered did I remember I wanted to try their muffuletta. So, I will have to come back.
